due to space constrain and many more flights are bringing in suspected swine flu cases to ttsh..

the sisters tgt with the higher authority ppl are opening up cdc 2 screening center as a decon center which is to be run-ned by ED..

they have create a function-able area out of nothing and within DAYS! omg.. seriously kudoos to them ALL!!

and it'll strt operating from tmr onwards. and and and!! they have called in for reinforcement from the hospital.. so DR's and SN's and AN's and HCA's from the wards and OT were being sent down.. and and and AND!! JUE is one of them! HOWEVER! she'll strt off with night shift tmr! at cdc 2! jia you jue! have a feel of behind those hideous mask plus goggles plus gowns plus gloves! and i'm pretty sure we'll work tgt one day! hahas! =))))!!!

and with tt.. i hope the staffs tts coming dwn to ED will learn a thing or two and understand how we work.. and to not just throw judgemental thoughts or words to us.

anws anws anws! EDX i/c just now.. and i think ppl are ALL watching tv too much..

okok.. aft wrk met up with momsie.. and sooo coincidentally the cousinSS loves were at pw as well! and and and!! apparently they wanna call me to meet them aft they search for their stuffs..and since we're both at the same place.. they joined us for dinner whereby they.....

surprised me with a graduation bear! a belated congrats! HAHAHAHS!! =))))))!!

swine swine go away and dont come back!

strting at 1/2 past noon.. all of us were back to donning GOWNS and CAPS and GOGGLES and not forgetting the MASK in tentage!

and the DECON area is EXTENDED!!! the road where the standby ambulance comes it.. its all been cordoned off and a huge tent was brought up!

the EXTERNAL AREA at tentage was converted to a mini DECON as well! ohh shit! all hell break loose already!

cuz we had a ptb case a chicken pox case and no SPACE all becuz of this swine shit!

and the ppl quarentine in THESE places are cranky. and we cant help it ok! im serious like WTH! you come in with fever and URTI symptoms and then! you ARE AN AIRPORT STAFF!!!! and you expect US to let you go free just like tt!! oohh come on..might as well just suffer in silence at home rights! self medicate! graaahs!

and for the record.. we DONT like to keep pts in ED cans!! esp NOT ?SWINE FLU CASE! the amt of GOWNS, GLOVES, CAPS and MASK! we have to waste... TSK!! gown before entering tentage or decon.. degown when you're done at decon.. GOWN-up agn before leaving decon and entering tentage.. degown when you're gg off from tentage.. gown up when entering tentage agn..

one of the sister is suggesting botox cuz our faces are all marked with LINES!

ohhh and YES the 1/2 priced starbucks day! and i met...... SHA SHA!!!!!!!!! =)))))))))))!!! its been soooooo loooooong and i tot i'd NVR meet her agn!! am happy.. i end work today beautifully.. i hope! HAHAS. =)))!

PS i think im abit boliao cuz it seems im like soo free to keep updates in my blog.. but its ok.. i at least provide free insights to a life of a NEW NURSE.. soo naive and stupid! HAHAHS!

aaaarrrrgggggghhhhhhhssssssss!!!!!

yes tts EXACTLY what i wanna scream out loud aft finish passing report. and seriously! luckily it was DR KH.. if it had been prof.. i'd prolly be fired on the spot..

so anyhoows the shift strted off really good with only 4 pts.. so no doubts i find myself hoping tt the drs will be nice enough to d/c them and the BMU wld chun chun give beds and i will have ZERO pts!.. BUT BUT BUT.. tt didnt happen.. infact tt was NOT the case at all.. the pts i had wasnt d/c-ed, they were to be admitted instead.. and the ones for admission nvr received their bed.. and!! more and more pts came in.. initially i wasnt affected.. i was trying to take things on a positive note.. then came in A who was drunk and makes lots and lots of noise.. and then came in B who pukes and pukes.. then came on C demanding to see the dr!

its ok.. breathe.. break come back more surprises.. its ok.. breathe.. then break then come back.. its 1330.. i get AN plus agency nurse to help me do paras which was not completed cuz they were called for other purposes.. i help them do.. with FULL awareness tt my report wasnt ready! but my paras are essential as well.. torn btwn the 2.. buddy helped me out with vitals.. tot i've settled with reports only to find out more were at the admission counter! sighs! time to panic when PM shift come in and im still printing my last few cases from admission counter.. my notes were not rearranged.. and pm shift wasnt nice enough to help me do tt.. sighhs..
aiya nvm la.. as i've mentioned.. luckily its KH and not prof!

and and and.. i think be prepared to hear from some ppl abt me for today.. PLUS i totally feel bad asking kak nurul help me out like today.. its SHIT.. totally!

arrrggghhhss!! i totally screw today big big BIG TIME! i gt screamed at.. got bombared by.... almost puked at.. THANKS ARHS!

aft clearing off my cases.. helped pm shift abit to make sure she's really settled in.. thank those who've helped me.. and hugged sheilea.. cuz i really needed it! tts how rotten i felt sia.. sigghhs.. the female can stil say me you're 2 ppl le.. yeah 2 ppl.. but we do practically everything! whatever la.. talked to kakak agency and she say go home and switch off ok.. dont think just rest..

but i CANT.. how cld i!! i think today might be the stressest day of my life in ED sia.. and abg rahmat can still say no worries.. theres more to come.. which is true.. and i know it..and i'll be more prepared becuz of today.. and one fine day i'll look back at today and smile at how silly i'd been!

pts with alcohol intox. GCS.
major limb injury/cast circulation chart.
check god dammit CHECK the DAMN WEB for drs orders instead of relying on hand pointing and verbal orders!!!

GRADUATION!!! like finally! hahahs.. its abit redundant considering most of us already are sent off to join the workforce.. but anyhoos.. its still soo nice to be seeing soooooo many familiar faces! which brings back the comfort of SCHOOL! =))))!!

jue came to pick me up at eunos this morning.. then! we head over to sch.. slack put on robes and walaa... and i met KH too!! she's incharge of my row of ppl! how nice! =)))))!!!

so tts it.. it concluded my whole day! of cuz not mentioning my leg hurts big time now.. and i'm shagged like nobody's business! hahahas!!

as quoted by shidah.. IM A HAPPY BITCH TODAY!

1)finally manage to meet the ttsh darls shidah and jue before work.. eventhough it was a really REALLY short meet up.. we MET up! and im pretty contented! at least till nxt tues! =)))!

2)O1 male wasnt tt bad.. received quite alot of pts.. built up till i dunno what the hell im receiving.. and the worst part is when fides-O1 female went down.. and so everyone literally EVERYONE was passing to me... and so i just listen for the sake of listening. it was till tt bad la.. imagine! i dunno who's gg to the xray.. who's for dressing.. and some funny jokers even put the plan chart terbalik for me.. but at the end of the day.. i only had 4 pts to pass! YAY! alhamdulillah! and even tt 2 is for admission 1 is in the process of d/c-ing.. so yes yes yes! im a happy girl at the end of the shift! - ohh and i met bra in his police uniform this time..

and things tt i CAN improve on is tt check in which unit pts are admitted to and determine the need of hardcopy x-rays. take note of pts face and try to rmb them and the reason they come in.. help out pts who are in pain.. trace back the drs and demand immediate attn! check in DETAIL before consulting SMO. call the MO themselves and ?? them on their cases rather then straight away consulting to SMO. let my dear colleagues go for their 1hr much neede breaks! rather then stealing 1/2 hr from them!

3)mas came dwn to visit her uncle whom i had met in ED on thurs. and so i had dinner with her and her whole family except for the dad! and then i went up to visit her uncle for a while before rushing off cuz i wasnt sure how long was my break! hahahs!!

4)i met up with sha, faz, and clare aft work! they were at vivo doin i dunno what.. and i was told to wait at kallang as they come back.. and deon was to fetch me before meeting up with them! loong story before i can meet them sia! and a huge SMILE was plastered as i saw them!! its been tooo loong!

i seriously need to work on my patience! SERIOUSLY.. its running really short.. prolly the environment i work in makes be a less tolerant person.. but i still see a whole lot of senior staffs who are really really patient..

anws.. was working really closely with dr jo just now.. such a niceee lady.. and i was really impressed by the way she handled an aunty just now.. kinds of snap be back to the world of humanity..

ergghhs.. but its pretty impossible to apply all those humanity skills.. TLC and yadaa yadaas in edX! sighs..

anyhoows... change of schedule tmr.. 5-midnight..-wont be working with fizah! =(((((!!!

edX I/C agn with rhea this time.. her 1st day back and she was soooo super suay sia! seriously.. got told off by dr by sister by arseholes! OMG! then then.. early EARLY in the morning.. the part-timer security guard went to irritate me! ARSE. you'd nvr guess how i made his god damn day to be! LMAO! -took N95 mask.. but he wasnt mask fitted.. -.-"!!! damn lame cans..

ok so anws.. many many congrats to me as i will be edX I/C on sat.. and will be in edX on sun as well! kudoos...

while while while.. has and liyana strt their O1 role on sat...

ok just now! outside was damn kecoh.. pt were being pushed frm edX to decon.. from decon to edx.. from edx to edc.. from edc to edx... soo many push push push! all cuz diff seniors have diff opinions.. i HATE IT! and due to THAT! we nurses.. I/C's got scolded for NOTHING! SHEESH!

and now.. we have a new batch of MO's.. sigh.. org org ni.. nak aksyen pandai tapi tak kene tempat sehhs.. and so.. welcome to reality.. new nurse + new MO = LOTSA MISTAKES!
one of the senior DR has already agreed that this batch is "VERY BLUR".. wahhh thank you sia!

ok enough abt the sad part of work..

we went to eat ketam just now aft work! with liyana, has, syaz, sis norresah, sis roslin, sis atiqah with mom and daughther. =)) food was nice..

finally i can have time to blog properly! this is what shift work does to you!!

ok lets go all the way back to last sat.. the day where everyone wants to steal from me!! was on AM shift.. and at the same time.. sister honey had some talk gg on at her place.. so i totally miss tt out cuz im on SHIFT! hahs! so the ppl wo went for the talk had to carry remaining food back to ED.. and ape lagi aft shift.. me and kak rafidah strted the feast gg! heated up the food and strt recommending ppl what to eat! HAHAHAS!! the fruit salad was awesome btw LOL out of all the food..
bearing in mind the time cuz i gtta rush off to SCHOOL to collect our grad gown.. with none oth then my 2 LOVELY honeys...

and i gtta pangseh them to rush back to grams place for maulid cum mothers day celebration cum imm's and gram's bday celebration!!

and work! was put as the edX incharge yest.. buddy with ai lin.. lucky thing she's arnd.. and at 1 point things got soooo messy and within minutes she cleared everything up le.. im really soo and very impressed by the way she work..

so anws.. im getting really comfy in Obs room sia.. its like my safe harbour! sheesh... the main reason is of cuz non other than having kak nurul arnd.. i sooooo miss kak devi like OMG!!
